Bishop Jeff Fisher Visit | November 1 - We will have one service at 10:30 AM with Confirmation and Baptism.
The word “Episcopal” means to be a church governed by Bishops!
It’s a very important event when one of governors, or Bishops, visits. They want to personally check in with us and hear from us, be a part of our growth and prosperity. They offer face-to-face encouragement, advice, and guidance in the areas of pastoral care and church administration. Visits strengthen our connections to the Diocese and the support we value from our leaders and advisors.
It’s uniquely special when Bishop Fisher visits because, after his Graduation from Virginia Theological Seminary in 2004, he served as a curate at St. Mary’s and was ordained here. He was also a classmate to The Reverends Mark Wilkinson and Wendy Wilkinson, our current interim rectors.
This visit will also include conversation about our current strengths and areas in need of growth and how they fit into the calling of a new rector.
Please join us as we welcome Bishop Fisher back to St. Mary’s!
