Sacred Marriages

In February, St. Mary’s started a new program for Date Night called Sacred Marriage by Gary Thomas. This is a six-part study that asks the question, “What if God designed marriage to make us holy more than to make us happy?” In March, we are repeating the first session. Sessions can stand alone.

Topics in the series are:

  • God’s Purpose for Marriage: More Than We Imagine (Mar. 19)
  • The Refining Power of Marriage (Apr. 16)
  • The God-Centered Spouse (May 21)
  • Sacred History (Jun. 18)
  • Sexual Saints (Jul. 16)
  • Marriage: A Love Laboratory (Aug. 20 & Sep. 17)

Date Night is the third Friday of the month starting at 6:30 PM. Child drop off is at 6:15 PM and is by reservation only (281-370-8000). Dinner is $3.00 per child. We begin as a group and watch a 25-minute DVD segment. Then, we go on dates armed with discussion questions. For those using childcare, pick up is by 9:00 PM.

Date Night is a fun opportunity for you and your spouse to enrich your union. We welcome couples from newlywed to “oldywed!”
