EfM = Education for Ministry
This class combines critical-analysis study of the Old and New Testaments, Church History and Theology in a weekly seminar format where discussions and structured reflections help each participant integrate their experiences in life into spiritual and theological implications for discovering and living out their ministry in the world.

This 4 year, college level course was developed at the Seminary of the South, Sewanee, TN and can be taken for CEU credit. The seminar is facilitated by a mentor who receives training on a regular basis through the University of the South. Tuition includes textbooks. Some partial scholarships may be available.

Your commitment? One year at a time. Current class is multi-parish and multi-year and will meet on Monday evenings from 6:30-9pm during the 'school year' on the St. Mary's campus in the St. Cecilia building.

Email Lynn Ronkainen (mentoring since '97 including a 3 year sabbatical) with questions or for an application.

Create a Class
Is there something you'd love to read and/or study and/or talk about? If you can find 2 other people to join you, you have a class!.

On the bulletin board in the narthex/welcoming area, write on a post-it note the class you would like to create. Others will let you know of their interest by filling out another post-it with their name and putting it with your post-it on the bulletin board. When you have three people contact the office to get your class put on the master calendar and for a room assignment. Your class will be posted on the web site, and listed in the weekly announcements, the Messenger and in the weekly email so that others may join. If you have any questions please let Beth+ know.
